There are few of them and you rarely touch them, but two decide what people see when your email arrives. Worth getting right once.
You find them in your user menu, top right, under General settings. Administrator rights are required.
Account name
It is the name of the workspace. It shows in the account switcher at the top — handy if you run more than one — and, more importantly, it is the default sender name on the email you send.
Put in the name your guests recognise: the brand, not the registered company name. That is what they read in their inbox.
Default sender
This is where you decide how the sender of your invitations looks. Two separate fields.
Sender name — what shows up in large type in the inbox. Left empty, the account name is used.
Sender address (local part) — whatever goes before the at sign. Left empty, noreply is used.
The preview under the two fields shows you the result, composed with your primary domain:
Your Brand <events@yourbrand.com>If you find a warning instead of the preview, you do not have a primary sending domain yet: see Set up your sending domain.
Both values are only the starting point: any event and any campaign can override them, when a particular client or brand needs a different sender.
API key
The key is how you connect Eventleash to other systems. It goes in the X-EL-API-KEY header of your calls.
The button next to it copies it to the clipboard. The regenerate button replaces it: the previous key stops working immediately, so do it only if you suspect it has been exposed, and update whatever uses it straight away.
API access is a feature of the Agency plan. On the other plans the key exists but calls are refused.
Saving
Changes are saved with the button at the top right. There is no autosave: leave the page without saving and your edits are gone.
