Terms and conditions

1. Service Description

Eventleash is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables users to:

  • manage contact databases and CRM records;
  • create, organize and manage events;
  • send email campaigns and newsletters to segmented contact lists;
  • create landing pages for event registration and sign-up;
  • manage participant admission, accreditation and event check-in.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Eventleash, the user confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Service in full.

3. User Account and Responsibility

The user is responsible for their account and agrees to:

  • provide accurate, current and complete information;
  • keep login credentials secure and confidential;
  • remain fully responsible for all activities carried out through their account.

4. Acceptable Use

The user agrees not to use Eventleash for:

  • illegal, fraudulent or deceptive activities;
  • sending unsolicited communications, spam or messages in breach of applicable law;
  • uploading, processing or sharing data without an adequate legal basis;
  • infringing third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy or data protection rights.

5. Personal Data Protection

The user acknowledges and agrees that they act as the data controller for all personal data uploaded to or processed through the platform, and must comply with all applicable data protection laws, including, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Where applicable, Eventleash acts as a data processor solely for the technical and organizational purposes required to provide the service.

6. Contact Data and Uploaded Content

The user represents and warrants that they have all necessary rights, notices, consents or other lawful grounds required to use the contact data uploaded to the platform, send communications, manage event registrations and perform admission or check-in activities.

7. Newsletters and Email Campaigns

The user is solely responsible for all email campaigns sent through Eventleash and agrees to:

  • obtain recipient consent where required;
  • provide an appropriate unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism;
  • comply with all applicable anti-spam and electronic communications laws;
  • refrain from using purchased, third-party or unlawfully collected mailing lists.

8. Events, Registration and Participation

Eventleash provides technological tools to support the operational management of events, registrations, admissions and check-in, but is not responsible for:

  • the organization, modification, postponement or cancellation of events;
  • participant management, access control or admission requirements;
  • services, products or activities offered by the event organizer;
  • damages, incidents or disputes arising from the event itself.

9. Service Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Eventleash does not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or fully compatible with every device, configuration or third-party integration.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eventleash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, loss of profits, business interruption or damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

11. Suspension or Termination

Eventleash reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate access to the platform in the event of a breach of these terms, misuse of the service, security concerns or legal obligations.

12. Changes to the Terms

Eventleash reserves the right to amend or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will become effective upon publication on the platform or on such different effective date as may be specified.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of applicable law. Unless otherwise required by law, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent court as determined under applicable law.
